Seahawks at Arlington High School

So it's not everyday that a really cool bus from a major NFL team drives up to your high school.

Here is the reason why:

Next Monday is the 6 month anniversary of the Oso mudslide, which is about 15 minutes outside of our town. I'd show you a picture but a) pictures don't do it justice b) every time I visit the site there are clouds.  Above is a picture of Jojo's football jersey. He was a local middle school boy who played football and a lot of people knew him.  I even was his substitute teacher many times.

Anyway, the Seahawks Seagals and some of their drum corps came to present a big fat check to the survivors, as in $225,000.  Way cool!  It was a lovely evening at AHS.  You can read more about it here.
