We were fortunate to go to the Peru exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum today. The first Thursday of the month is cheap day the S.A.M. and we had some free tickets for adults and kids are free, yipee! But hurry, this exhibit lasts only until this Sunday.
We wanted to go there since Madison is living in the Andes at 14,000 feet in Huancayo, Peru and I have been to Macchu Picchu, a loong tiiime ago. I'll try to dig up a picture.
I wanted to take a picture in the exhibit, but the security guard made it crystal clear that NO PICTURES ALLOWED. Sorry. Very interesting how all the ancient civilizations have bits and pieces of each other...hmmmm. We enjoyed it.
