Sound of Music Remake

What are your feelings about the Sound of Music remake?  I totally understand how people get their panties in a wad about remakes, but this one I'm good with.  It's time to give someone else a chance.

I'm interested to see how NBC is going to pull off a live performance though.  That baffles me why they would do that- a play version on TV.  Personally, I want to see mountains, real mountains, in Austria, and no fakey set versions of an abbey or town.  I would have voted for a 3 hour long movie; but I'm not in charge.

Thursday night is it people.  Set your DVR or clear your calendar.  It's going to be wonderful and I wish Carrie Underwood the best.
