Goals 2014

Goals 2014:

Now that summer is officially over and the glories of fall are upon us, I'm pondering my 'must-do' list for fall.  At the beginning of summer I always write down the hikes, events, beaches, and fairs I want to hit.  Fall is no different:  corn mazes galore, produce stands, and sports.

I'm curious what's on everyone's list?

Since I'm in a list sort of mood, here's how my goals for the year are going.
Goals 2014:

1. Find the best natural beauty products for my hair and face.  I've found the best things! Yipee.  Baking soda for shampoo and apple cider vinegar for a conditioner.  It truly works.

And for my face, this one makes me beam!  Doterra Essential Oils has finally made my middle age skin happy!  I've found IT, yes, THEE product that works for my skin.  Clear Skin  has helped me transform my skin.  I love the way it feels and smells.
2. Walking 12,000 steps a day/ Fit into my pants. This is a bit of a toughy.  It hasn't been tough to work out or even lose the 8 pounds (girly squeal!)  Yes, I lost 8 pounds.  But, now (sigh!)  I want to lose another 8 pounds.  Why can't we ever be happy?

3. Do a craft a month.  Did it  and still doing it.  Will show you soon this months 'craft' more like major project!

Ok, so now it's your turn to tell me if you're still going strong on your goals!  The year is almost over.  Keep on truckin'.

Project for April

This is a copy cat pillow of an Anthropologie pillow that costs $78.  I had everything on hand, so it cost me zilch.  Nice huh?
Back in January I had some goals.  Trying hard to keep them up. How are you doing on your goals?  I'd love to see what you are up to.

This pillow wasn't very hard.  In fact, it was kind of like baking- when you throw in a little of this and that.

I love the hot pink.  Below you can see all 5 pillows I made to recreate a master haven  noteworthy of Pinterest, with a little bit 'o me in it.  Creativity is coming back y'all. The best part, I maybe spent $5 total, most of this stuff I had on hand.

Goals for 2014-

photo simplymusicwise

So I made some goals.  Most of us do.  Around February we'll truckin' on with our goals, checking off lists.  It feels good.  I'm feeling the 'high' today because I did my craft goal.  Those lovely beauts above.

The details: Paper roses are so fun to make.  It's a rare find on Pinterest, let me tell you.  When you have lots of music laying around like I do, what do you do with it?  Make paper roses. The rose in the back is from 100 year old music from my Grandmother.  Yessirree!  That's for Boss Moss.

And the rose in the front is for a friend, which if you are a reader living near me, you'll probably get one soon!  Wink!  This paper is from Italian opera music that I don't think I'll be playing soon.  I also made a Christmas garland, which started the craft bug again.

Anyone want to join me for rose making?
