I have a great respect for Alex Boye and mention him often.  He's haitian, came to America with a dream, sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and has now branched out to his own singles career.  Plus, his work is inspiring and excellent.

Happy Post Memorial Day! 

It's still on my mind.  I watched this video in its entirety of 10 minutes last night and I cried so hard I went to sleep after.

Thank you to all the veterans and those serving who've been brave enough to leave their families to give their service for the greater good.  There is evil out there that needs to be fought! Thank you!

There are so many good vignettes in this video.  Which ones are your favorite?  Mine has to be there first little girl and the little preschooler boy that kept saying "I missed you Daddy, I love you Daddy".  Tissues please!

Pierce hopped into the car with the babies on his ears.  I kept talking to him on the way to school  He couldn't hear a thing I was saying.  I asked him what he was listening to (I was ready to hear AC/DC or something of the current ilk).  He smiled back "Piano Guys".  I laughed to myself that he had the volume full blast of this genre.

Here we are the last few weeks of 6th grade.  My baby is going to be a legit middle schooler and I'll only have 2 kids at home for a time.  Ach!  

So here is a Tuesday Music Video for you that represents Pierce, he's a great dancer and a basketball player!

Do you have incredible singing abilities?  Then please do what this young lady did and made an amazing You Tube video.  It totally makes our day at Chez Moss to watch people put themselves out there with crazy talents. I mean, I pride myself with keeping up with musical trends, but Hipster, what is that?

If you like unusual talents, this lady can even do sound 'alikes' of what different languages sound like.  Not bad if you ask me!

Boss Moss just asked me what I wanted for Valentine's today. And, my eyebrows lifted "Oh, it's almost Valentine's!"

We are celebrating with simple love this year.  I can't wait to see how creative everyone will get.  Should be good.

In the meantime, this is such a sweet song.  Reminds me of my Reagan and her song writing.

Warning:  These are old, as in dated.  With that in mind, the content is excellent and at times the corny songs are catchy.

Back in the 90's, we bought the full blown set of these videos and more, for our children.  I wrung my hands with the money that we spent, but it has been well worth it.  My kids learned a lot and these VHS tapes have been well used, loved, and adored.  They've brought memories and learning into our home.  I hope my grandchildren enjoy them.

Do you have anything you've bought that you lost sleep over then realized that every penny spent was worth it?

It's so hard to make these kind of purchases.

If you didn't know it, my major at BYU was European Art History and a minor in french.  I spent a lot of time in France, school and working, so I'm a softie for french things.

Ok, so this is corny, but it does convey that missionaries (or even military for that matter) need communication and lots of it.

Her district that was leaving together joked about who was either going to pass out or throw up first.  I bet Madison did neither, she has a steel stomach.  We can't wait to hear how it went this week!
